Since the Warner Brothers masters were never released to the public and the Capitol/EMI album, The Best of Gail Davies, was out of print, Gail and her new husband, Rob Price, decided to make an album that would always be available to the fans. In order to do that, they had to own the masters. (Recording artists on major labels do not own their masters. The artists must pay for the recording costs out of their meager royalites but the masters are still owned by the record companies).
Gail decided her music was worth it so she sold her home in the Nashville suburbs to finance the recording of this album. The project was finished and licensed to Koch Records the following year. Many of Gail's friends volunteered to add their talents to this project. They are all listed above.
This album should be available in all good record stores. If you cannot find it, please contact the fanclub. For more information email us or write to PO Box 120545, Nashville, TN. 37212.
